With the COVID-19 crisis and the lack of social interaction it has brought, getting proper medical care can be difficult at this time. Even if you can't go to a chiropractor, you can still do home exercises to keep yourself healthy. Knee to Chest

This exercise is a great way to stretch out your backside and abdominal muscles a little bit without putting too much stress on yourself. All you have to do is lie on your back, tighten your abdominal muscles and bring your knees toward your chest while lying with your back flat against the floor. This is a great way to keep yourself stretched out if coronavirus is keeping you from visiting a chiropractor.

Trunk Rotation

Your lower back, hips, and abdominal muscles play an important role in your flexibility, so trunk rotation is another one of our favorite home exercises. For this one, simply lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Then, move your knees to the side so that they're lying on the floor. You can go back and forth between both sides as many times as you want for a good stretch.

Trunk Arching

Trunk arching is another great way to keep your back stretched out and relaxed while coronavirus is keeping you from seeking chiropractic care. If this exercise is a bit uncomfortable for you, start slow and work your way up until you're more relaxed. All you have to do is kneel on all fours, then arch your back up and hold it there for a few seconds. Next, slowly lower your stomach toward the ground and hold that position. Again, you can repeat this as many times as feels comfortable for you.

Gluteal Stretch

If you want to stretch out your backside a bit while working on your back, the gluteal stretch is another great move. Start by lying on the floor with your knees bent and feet flat, just like with trunk rotation. Next, cross one leg over the other so one ankle is on the other knee. Once you feel a in your glutes, hold this position for about 30 seconds (or as long as you're comfortable holding it).
